Services

Neutral supervision and exchange services, structured from the first contact

Every service we provide is defined in writing, delivered by trained staff, and documented factually so that the court receives a consistent record.

01

Supervised Visitation

A trained monitor is present for the entire visit, keeping the child and the visiting parent in continuous sight and hearing.

  • Sessions take place at an approved location selected by SafeHarbour Visit, not by either parent.
  • The monitor observes, supports appropriate parenting time, and redirects when guidelines are not followed.
  • Visits end at the scheduled time. Extensions are not granted between parents at the session.
  • Every session closes with a time-stamped factual record.
02

Monitored Exchanges

Staff manage the handoff from one parent to the other, without the parents ever meeting.

  • Each parent receives a separate arrival time and a separate arrival point.
  • Arrivals and departures are staggered by at least 15 minutes.
  • The receiving parent waits inside until the transferring parent has departed.
  • The exchange is documented, including arrival and departure times.
03

Intake & Safety Screening

Each parent completes a separate intake before any session is scheduled, and a case risk level is set before the first visit.

  • Parents are never scheduled for intake at the same time.
  • Intake covers the court order, household members, and the child's needs.
  • Each parent signs the service agreement, parent guidelines, and written fee schedule.
  • The assigned risk level determines the safeguards applied to the case.
04

Session Records & Court Reporting

Records are factual, time-stamped, and provided as the court order directs.

  • Logs record times, observations, and exact quotes. They contain no opinions or recommendations.
  • Incident reports are completed within 24 hours.
  • Attendance and cancellation records are maintained for every scheduled session.
  • Staff testify only under subpoena or court order.

Risk Levels

How risk levels work

Risk levels are an internal safety measure. They are not an opinion about either parent, and they are not a recommendation to the court.

Every case

A risk level is assigned at intake and reviewed if circumstances change. Both parents are told which safeguards apply to their case before the first session.

Added safeguards

Higher-risk cases receive additional protections, such as longer stagger times between arrivals, a second staff member present, or visits held at our office only.

Why it matters

The written record and the safeguards together give the court a consistent account of what happened, without either parent being placed in an unsafe position.

Visit Locations

Locations chosen by us, not by either parent

Visits take place at locations that pass a written SafeHarbour site safety review. The review covers access, sightlines, parking, privacy, and emergency egress.

SafeHarbour Visit, not either parent, chooses every location. Locations are not published, and they are not shared between parents.

Specific addresses are provided only to the parent attending that session, and are never included in records released to the court unless the court directs otherwise.
